Registered Clinical Psychologist | Intern in Neuropsychology

I am a Registered Clinical Psychologist with over a decade of experience working with children, adolescents, adults, and whānau across diverse settings. Originally from Sri Lanka, I completed my psychology education in Sri Lanka and Malaysia, qualifying as a Clinical Psychologist in 2012.

Since moving to Aotearoa New Zealand in 2018, I have worked within the Waikato District Health Board (DHB), primarily in Infant, Child, and Adolescent Mental Health Services (ICAMHS) and the Child Development Centre (CDC). Alongside my public sector work, I also practise as a Private Clinical Psychologist in Christchurch.

I am currently pursuing a Postgraduate Diploma in Clinical Neuropsychology at the University of Otago, with a special interest in neuropsychology. As part of this pathway, I am undertaking an internship in neuropsychology, further developing my expertise in the assessment and treatment of neurological and cognitive concerns.

My process
